2025年9月8日（月）の報道によると、アルバイ州レガスピ市とその周辺で以下のイベント行われました。

• 未成年者救出作戦：ビコル地方警察（PRO-5）は、アルバイ州マリリポットで行われたおとり捜査で、サイバー犯罪の被害者であった14歳の少女を救出したと報告しました。容疑者はマリナオ出身の29歳男性で、「アントン」という偽名を使い、未成年者をオンラインで脅迫し、直接会おうとした疑いで逮捕されました。容疑者は、2012年サイバー犯罪防止法に関連して、児童保護を規定する共和国法7610号違反の疑いで訴追される予定です。

• マヨン火山活動：フィリピン火山地震研究所（Phivolcs）は、マヨン火山で26回の火山性地震が観測され、北東部、南部、南西部で火山の隆起が続いていると報告しました。これらの兆候は、マグマが地表に近づき、突発的な水蒸気噴火の可能性が高まっていることを示唆しています。マヨン火山は引き続き警戒レベル１であり、一般人は６キロの危険地帯に近づかないよう勧告されている。

According to reports on Monday, September 8, 2025, the following events took place in and around Legazpi City, Albay Province.

• Rescue Operation for a Minor: Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) reported the rescue of a 14-year-old cybercrime victim in an entrapment operation in Malilipot, Albay. The suspect, a 29-year-old male with the alias "Anton" from Malinao, was arrested after allegedly threatening the minor online and attempting to meet her in person. A case is being prepared against the suspect for violating Republic Act 7610, which provides special protection for children, in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

• Mayon Volcano Activity: The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that 26 volcanic earthquakes were detected at Mayon Volcano, with ongoing swelling in the northeastern, southern, and southwestern areas. These signs suggest that magma may be moving closer to the surface, increasing the possibility of sudden, steam-driven eruptions. Mayon Volcano remains at Alert Level 1, and the public is advised to stay out of the 6-kilometer danger zone.
